Afternoon and evening before (10hrs). Long day on wedding day (9.00 until end!) Pre meetings and recce.
"Photograph the day in the way you feel befits the occasion. They are a spirited couple and I am sure that they would like to see this captured"

I approached this like I would a film, with a very clear understanding of story; a story of two families brought together with the marriage of their children. It was quite an event!

Documentary style, capturing the atmosphere in an honest way. Be laid back and part of the party like a family friend. Informal approach.

3 days (4hrs, 8hrs, 8 hrs). Working with another wedding photographer who was focusing on a more formal element on the wedding day, the brief was to capture the families coming together both in portraits and informal gathering.
